Hi there! my name is Cristian Melendez and I am a Guatemalan American designer based out of South Florida specializing in Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, and UX Design. I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in Multimedia Studies where I went on to take on my first internship at a local start up company. There I would further expand my design knowledge and skills by working hands on with popular design softwares, practices and concepts.

As I continued with my design career, I went on to further my education by embarking Google’s UX Design Certification courses. There I went to expand my repertoire by studying UX research methodology, wireframing, low-fidelity & high fidelity prototyping, and creating mockups via industry standard softwares such as Figma & Adobe XD.

A few of the projects I’ve had the pleasure of working on have been logo animations for a few engineering companies such as the Apex Machine Company & DESCO, website & menuboard icon animations for nationally growing restaurant chain I Heart Mac & Cheese, and creating a multitude of motion graphic concepts for clients across a variety of industries through my internship journey, restaurant marketing experience, and my freelance ventures.
